Routine Service is based on a maximum of 3 attempts within 7 days from receipt of documents. If a valid address is provided, most Routine Services are completed within 3 days.
Routine Service Fee $50 for 1st person
($10 for 1st additional person served at same address, $5 for each additional)
Rush Service is based on 2 attempts within 48 hours of receiving documents.
Rush Service Fee $65 for 1st person
($10 for 1st additional person served at same address, $5 for each additional)
Express Service is based on 2 attempts within 24 hours of receiving documents.
Express Service Fee $85 for 1st person
($10 for 1st additional person served at same address, $5 for each additional)
Waiting Time, if approved by client, when person to be served is hard to locate at home, i.e. works nights, been on vacation.
Waiting Time Fee $10 per hour
Court Filing is charged only if client desires process server to file the papers with the county court.
Court Filing Fee $10 flat-rate
Not Found Fee is charged when the process server can confirm that the provided address information is invalid.
Not Found Fee $35
For individuals or non-established clients, the Routine Service Fee is required when the documents are picked up for service. For corporations, law offices, or established clients, the Routine Service Fees are expected to be paid upon delivery of the Proof of Service Affidavit or the proof of filing of documents at the county courthouse.
All Rush Services and Express Services are to be paid at the time documents are picked up for service.
*Fees include mileage for amount of attempts listed and include a notarized (if required) Proof of Service Affidavit for the client. Note: A separate Court Filing Fee for a client that prefers the process server to file documents associated with the service at the county courthouse is listed above.
** If service cannot be completed within 7 days, the client will be contacted and given the reason why service has not been completed. If client agrees, we will attempt to serve 2 more times over an additional 7 days at no additional charge.
Clients must provide Newman Process Service with a valid residential address, business address (if known), and a physical description of the person being served. A description of the residence and any known vehicles is helpful as well.
Before documents are accepted for service, Newman Process Service requires the client to provide their contact phone number, an email address (if applicable), and current mailing address.
If a service cannot be completed within 7 days of receipt of documents, the client will be notified by phone and/or email/text, whichever is preferred. **
